Vortex nights happen once a month on Fridays. Unless otherwise specified, live music sets begin at 9:30pm and end at 1am. Guests are welcome to stay beyond that point but may be subject to abstract noises or dad jokes by the host or hosts.
There is a $20 door cover for all events. Musicians pay $10. The fee goes entirely to guest musicians and recouping nightly vortex expenses.

The Vortex is a loft space in Greenpoint offering regular performances. Our mission is to provide a platform for new music creation and performance, with an emphasis on new jazz. We host regular music performances with a rotating roster of artists, usually on a Friday. Check instagram to be sure. Contact for location.
